PCUSA's Conservative Voice

The PCUSA, the largest Presbyterian Body in America, has over 11,000 congregations and 2.5 plus Million members. It's gradual decline in numbers in recent years can be directly related to it's simultaneous rejection of historic Presbyterian doctrine and practice.

There is now a movement within the PCUSA that is very exciting and gathering steam. Supported by the Presbyterian Lay Committee, the Confessing Church Movement now consists of 1,309 Congregations representing some 431,000 members. These churches have banded together to try to force the denomination to be faithful to its own doctrinal standards. The focus of this group is the following declaration:

1. That Jesus Christ alone is Lord of all and the way of salvation.
2. That holy Scripture is the Triune God's revealed Word, the Church's only infallible rule of faith and life.
3. That God's people are called to holiness in all aspects of life. This includes honoring the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, the only relationship within which sexual activity is appropriate.

All PCA members should be praying for this movement...
