There is no middle ground BMW drivers either swear by it, or at it. Having used it now for almost 4 months I am an iDrive Evangelist. I LOVE IT! Between the iDrive & voice recognition (see the button) virtually any thing in the car can be controlled in a matter of seconds. Navigation (GPS), Entertainment (CD, Sirius Satellite Radio, FM), Bluetooth Mobile Phone, etc. are all controlled with a few twists and/ or clicks while going 90 (I mean 55) mph. Come over for a test drive anytime. By the way my buddy Ron McNalley HATES his iDrive, but Ron has also failed to master the fine art of the e-mail 'attatchment'... Go figure...

Glad you could figure it out. I'd hate to be stuck with it if I didn't like it. I am curious if it will catch on, Audi is already implementing their version of it, although not in the same degree as BMW. We'll see if other manufacturers follow suit!
Thanks for visiting Andy!!!!!
